以获得2006年KAI新人建筑奖出名的李奎尚、张基旭（VOID建筑事务所），就是这样从肯定彼此间的不同开始，奠定了合作的基石。他们有这几乎相同的经历：毕业的学校、服役的军队、供职的事务所等，但这并不仅是偶然的一致，而似乎是为他们的合作埋下的必然。事实上两个人都曾有过在K.Y.W.C的实战经验，这也使得他们离开K.Y.W.C建筑事务所后努力尝试挖掘自身的特性。然而他们作品的表面，我们似乎很难看到K.Y.W.C的 影响，这可能是由于他们长期以来一直保持着联系的缘故。

  但是，他们自己依然在自己的作品种找到了那种味道。

KuSang Lee and KiUck Zhang (VOID Architects)who have registered their existence with architects' community by winning 206 KAI New Architect Award are laying a cornerstone for their company.Their experiences and career are almost the same: the same college the attended,the same military unit they served and the sma studio thy worked for. However, it is not coincidental but intentional fo companies. The fact that both of them had practiced architecture at K.Y.W.C. Architects makes sense their attempt to explore their identities derived from K.Y.W.C.Architects.However, the reason why we we hardly read such an influence of K.Y.W.C. Architects in their surface works may be that they have long kept in touch with each other.
